Luigi Gargiulo, in the 1930s began working as a pastry boy. Serious and reliable in work as in life, in 1940 he opened his first café and pastry shop and when still very young he married Maria who in turn belongs to a family of Neapolitan caterers.
The combination of the two activities generates an explosion of tastes that allow the Gargiulo family to generate and develop an important business idea. The Gargiulo family moved from the historic center of the Neapolitan area to “Fuorigrotta”, a rapidly growing modern area.
